The UIDP Development Cycle is a continuous improvement process that enables universities to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and strengthen their internationalization efforts over time.

Phase 1: Assessment

A comprehensive review of the university’s current internationalization status, capacities, and performance indicators.

Phase 2: SWOT Analysis

Identification of institutional strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to international development.

Phase 3: Strategic Roadmap

Preparation of a customized internationalization roadmap with short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives.

Phase 4: KPI Development

Definition of measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with institutional goals and international benchmarks.

Phase 5: Implementation

Execution of approved initiatives, projects, and internationalization activities.

Phase 6: Monitoring & Evaluation

Regular measurement of progress, performance review, and identification of areas requiring improvement.

Phase 7: Certification & Recognition

Independent assessment of achievements and recognition through UIDP Certification Levels:

  • Bronze Level
  • Silver Level
  • Gold Level
  • Platinum Level
