The Self-Assessment process allows universities to evaluate their own internationalization capacity before the formal expert review.
The purpose of self-assessment is to encourage institutional reflection and increase awareness of current strengths, challenges, and development opportunities.

Assessment Scale

Universities are evaluated according to five readiness levels:

  • Level 1 โ€“ Initial
  • Level 2 โ€“ Emerging
  • Level 3 โ€“ Developing
  • Level 4 โ€“ Advanced
  • Level 5 โ€“ Internationally Mature

The self-assessment results provide the starting point for the comprehensive IRAF evaluation process.
