The process of obtaining academic admission from the Georgia International Academy of Sciences

Required Documents:
The applicants for One-Cycle programs will be required to submit the following documents:
- Copy of the International passport, for stateless persons – a copy of a residence certificate;
- One of the following qualification documents:
- A copy of a school-leaving certificate;
- A copy of the document, providing for credits earned at a foreign higher education institution – for applicants, who study/studied and earned credits at a foreign higher education institution, duly authorized commensurate with the law in force of the country concerned;
- A photo (3X4);
- One of the English language proficiency documents, envisaged by Rules for Determination English Language Proficiency (if there is such);
- If names in a passport and educational document are not the same – affidavit from the court, confirming that the both documents belong to the same person.
- Applicants should send the Power of Attorney to GIAS authorizing GIAS to represent the applicant with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

- Wait up to 5 working days for admission letter
- Translation documents in Georgian
- English online interview
- Sending documents to the Ministry of Science of Georgia
- Payment of expenses
- Wait up to 45 working days for Enrollment
- Receive the approval of the Ministry of Science
- Participate in the English language test in B2 level
- Payment of university annual tuition
- Contract with the university
Prepare the necessary documents to obtain an educational Visa:
- Admission Letter (we send it to you)
- Invitation letter (we send it to you)
- Approval of the Ministry of Science (we send it to you)
- Annual tuition payment certificate (you have to pay)
- Personal photo
- Original and a Copy of Passport (valid for 6 month or more)
- Completing the visa application form
- Get 90 day’s travel insurance
- Visa application form
- Visa fee deposit receipt (20 USD)

- Getting tickets, hotel reservations, travel insurance
- Opening a bank account
- Deposit at least 2000 dollars to the student’s bank account to receive a letter of financial support
- Start studying at the university
